Smash Bros Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U Discussion Thread

I just find it so odd that Nintendo has been recognizing and applauding the dedicated smash community recently (their sponsorship of EVO and the friendly tournament that they held at E3) and yet the big names in the smash series have yet been announced to return...
 
I'm so confused to as of why they're making a big deal of it
I mean
Live stream?? We're being told in advance??
Besides the smash direct (which was pretty much self explanatory) the last time we were told there'd be a new character in advance was E3 with Wii Fit Trainer, wasn't it??

Wii Fit Trainer was quiiite a bit before E3, but they announced Pacman and two or three others at E3.

Nooo I mean last year
Wii Fit Trainer was announced later on the day on the direct showing SSB4 sure it was part of some big reveal
Pacman, Palutena and Miis were announced in SSB4 without any warning, like granted we just knew there'd be characters announced like the direct on 8th April but no one said there'd be any characters unveiled
 
the other page is a weird chain and the previous page is people saying 'thats not what i meant' over and over. why dont we get back on track?

does anyone use bowser or peach as their mains in smash bros? im totally the only one

I use peach sometimes, ONLY in the white dress though she looks like she is going to a wedding and I think it is funny. Also her move set is pretty well balanced
 
That is very true, though in the original Smash Bros she was a very strong character. now there are just to many for her to compete with
 
I didn't study her character from what they showed but that was a pretty hard move to time so I could imagine it getting replaced
 
I so rarely used Peach. I want to but I kinda agree she's weak, and her jump felt lame. But I have to give everyone a chance when the new ones come out cause I've not played Brawl consistently for ages. I kinda hope I can figure out how to make the Wii Fit trainer my main fighter. It's just a weird one to me :p
