I recently bought a smart phone and was wondering if there were any cool games or apps that would be fun to try. I tried Pok?mon Go, but it is not really that exciting and it is a bit confusing because it doesn't really tell you how to play. What are some of your favorites?

The sims freeplay is alright. its free to start. it gets boring after a while.

Theres a game I havent bought yet but its pretty cheap its called "lifeline" i think and its a text based adventure. it sounds awesome.

i don't play many smart phone games anymore, but i am currently playing an app called "mystic messenger." if you like otome games, i'd recommend you give it a try! it's a korean made otome game (english translated), and it sort of makes it more realistic in a sense that you play through a mock-messaging app as if you were chatting with the characters. i've only played a handful of otome game, but the dialogue has more life to it than most. it's been gaining a lot of popularity recently and is available for both android and ios!

secondly, although i never really got into it, i know a lot of people like LINE play. you dress up a character, decorate a house, and collect items i think? i'm not sure, but there's an interactive part in it too.

Monster Super League is a new one that looks like a decent pokemon/RPG style game.

I used to play Tsum Tsum and a Sailor Moon game called Sailor Drops. I guess they're a little repetitive after a while, but they're pretty cute.

I played lifeline while it was free. It was a pretty good game IMO, but the options are meant to branch into other storylines and I could only get either the same ending or a death ending.

I have loads of my phone, and then loads more saved to the iCloud.
What kind of things do you enjoy doing? I'm playing some horror games at the moment and lost within is really good. It's more creepy than horror, about this police guy who is doing a search on an asylum before it gets demolished and gets locked inside. Basically following a story about what happened there. It's really interesting but not especially challenging. Recommend it though
Also really liked octodad. That's not an especially long game but it's great fun. All about this octopus who is hiding as a human being, even has a human family.

10 billion wives
10 billion husbands
Tsum tsum
Psych
Catbug
The last banancat
Defense Witches
Mahjong

Those are the phone games I have!

I also have Neko Atsume and Happy Street on my tablet! :)

Cool, I think I'll check some of these out later. Are there any fun music / rhythm games?

Also this isn't a game, but my friend showed me Shazam. It is super useful because I never know what songs are called. I was also messing with it with my music and it was guessing more anime songs than I though it would correctly. It did not know what Banjo Kazooie was though. lol

I'm not playing the long walk, which is kind of like a creepy horror game. Pretty good but I'm having to use a walk through on some parts. Dark meadow is really good. You're trapped in this building, don't know who you are and remember nothing of before. And there's this old guy talking to you through the speakers in certain safe rooms. You have a bow and arrow and a blade and have to fight off creatures as you make your way around the building. Really good. Then there's resident evil degeneration. Seem to have a problem on my phone when trying to open the app but it's a pretty good game, quite easy but you can at least play through again after you've completed it once

I've developed an addiction for Mystic Messenger ;;;;;;

A good rhythm game btw is Cytus OR if you have an iphone you can download a game called "The Real DJ" and can play any of the songs on your device as a rhythm game

None really, it's an old iphone 4s and idek how much it can handle plus the battery is a bit draining still... Could probably get some old game like that ant crusher stuff tbh, love that crap

I don't really play games on my phone anymore but some of the ones I played in the past are:

Thomas Was Alone which is a puzzle platformer where you start controlling Thomas who is a square guiding him through several puzzles with an accompanying narrative. As you proceed through the game you gain access to further shapes all with their own personalities and traits and must use them together to proceed.

Threes, another puzzle game where you join multiples of 3's on a 4x4 grid trying to get the highest number possible.

Osmos HD another puzzle game where you start as a small body of mass and must build up your size by absorbing smaller bodies of mass. This game contains unique physics such as being unable to move without giving up mass. Hard to explain really but a fun game.
