Smacked villager for 2 hours with a net; he still wants to stay.

I tried that, I tried TT a day at a time. In the end the only way he left was to be forced out by a campsite visitor lol.
I've actually moved out villagers with high friendship levels really easily - i've had their photos and everything. I do have poncho's photo, but he's actually being stubborn. I've been ignoring him for the longest time trying to get him to ping but no luckkk. just bad rng i guess :(
Yeah RGN can really suck sometimes. The longest I've had to TT to get a villager to ping me was a month for Fang, and it got to the point that I was considering just letting him stay 😅 but now that I have 9 dreamies and one flexible spot I'm not going to look for the perfect 10th villager and just rely on my campsite from now on

asdfghjk two hours oh my god 😂 this poor bear

he will ask to move out eventually, you've just got to keep TTing. at this point i wouldn't bother with hitting him anymore, i think it will be faster to just keep TTing and wait for him to ask. i've had villagers with high friendship ask to move out on the first try. it's mostly RNG. you just gotta keep at it, it's hard when you're wanting a specific villager to move out

LOL i actually got a good laugh everytime I looked at my switch and saw my character spam smacking him 😂. i'm gonna try tting again and hope for the best

Have you tried smacking him with a net for 4 hours ?

not yet, i'll try and let you know what happens

I honestly think they ping to move out randomly.
And by hitting them with a net, isn't there a possibility that you're raising friendship points because you are still interacting with them?

Is the villager the last one to move in? The last villager to move in won't ping to move. You'll have to push them out with a camper or amiibo

Every time I've tted this way to get a specific villager, it's transferred the thought bubble to the right villager within two weeks ingame, so idk what to say if you're at 5 months. I wouldnt even do it that long, I'm way too lazy lol

If it makes you feel better, i saw people say they spent more days than that to kick someone out so you are not alone. Maybe he just wanna stay out of spite, because i cant imagine your relationship with him being that great if you hit him everyday so unless hitting them doesnt reduce friendship points then maybe it is something else that can influence who asks to move out.

Violence towards cute little virtual critters makes me sad but the fact that you had it going on auto pilot for 2 hours cracks me up omg. RIP Poncho. I don't like him too much myself.

You're just making him more powerful.

Everytime you whacked him with the net, he's doing a mini crunch. He probably has a 16 pack abs.

What have you done?! 😱
