This thing is gross. It says it has a lot of damage but it's basically a Rapid Blaster.

Yep. So long as a weapon is available, and no matter how seemingly disadvantageous it is, people will use it. In fact, some like disadvantageous weapons as one way of self-imposing more challenge to the game. Or to show off. And of course some simply really like them.

The weapon isn't that bad.
The only thing I dislike about it is that despite its higher damage than the rest of the sloshers it isn't a one hit kill.
Although if it was, then it would just be a blaster.
However, I find myself often splatting the people who use it.
