Buying Slingshot and/or any art piece

I've been having rather lame luck in my new game of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It's been several days, and I haven't been able to get a slingshot from Nooklings' nor any non-forgery art pieces. I was hoping there was someone with extras of either of those, but my priority is the slingshot.

If anybody has a slingshot for sale in their town or a duplicate art piece that can be donated to the museum, I'd like to buy it off you.
