Skyrim

I mean I enjoy the fact that Lydia was given a male walking animation. It's just a tiny touch, but it adds so much to her character imo. But there are plenty of other characters that have fun little touches - Bethesda didn't stretch the budget on voice actors, but they tried to make the characters distinct in every other way possible. lol Boethiah is always an option for unwanted followers, yeah. I typically use one of the hirelings for that quest.

Oof. That's something you've gotta watch out for with mods, especially mods like Moonpath that add entire new areas. The coding can get kinda unstable at times, especially if you go the wrong way and try to load something that you either shouldn't or that straight up doesn't exist. Was it just a regular crash to desktop? If so, you'll probably be fine to re-load and try again. If it threw up an error message, it may be worth troubleshooting.

Yeah it was a clean crash to desktop. I'm not too worried about it. Plus I couldn't help myself and got Bruma last night after watching a few videos on YouTube, and it came with a little patch for the Elsweyr mission moving the caravan from Falkreath, so I'm ovbioisly going to try again. When I was being a noob and trying the actual Bethesda mods I broke my game to where it'd crash to desktop after 1 minute every single time. XD but haven't had any problems yet now that I'm using NMM

Yeah, NMM or ModOrganizer are pretty much required for PC modding. I would not recommend trying to manually install mods at all, not when there are so many easy-to-use alternatives that take care of the tricky stuff for you. I know for a fact that ModOrganizer doesn't even touch your vanilla install, so it's the safest to use imo. I still get CTDs occasionally, but honestly I get less CTDs in heavily-modded Skyrim than I do in my vanilla Morrowind game on the same computer, so all things considered, I think my setup is fairly stable for what it is.

Ooh I'm glad you were able to get a patch for it C: Good luck getting it to work!

Yeah. With jt being such an old mod anyways I shouldn't have pushed the boundaries. XD I just love exploring. So they were like "go this way" and I straight turned around and went the other way, guessing it was an unrendored area and that's why it quit on me. I haven't really touched any of the other big add on mods, of even SE places like Solestheim but I'm probably going to branb out more today and tomorrow since they're my days off and I'm stuck with nothing to do without a car. More reason so play Skyrim!

I mean I haven't played the SE because my copy of the original looks just as good rofl, but Solstheim was added by Bethesda so there shouldn't be any major issues with it (regarding unrendered areas at least). I've never encountered any problems, and I've done all there is to do on Solstheim. One thing I'd recommend against doing is swimming to/from Solstheim - I've never tried it, but I've heard it can cause problems lol.

If you're into big add-on mods, I'd recommend the Wheels of Lull. It's a bit of a strange mod, particularly the characters and the plot, but I really love a lot of the dungeons, and I really like how it incorporates alternatives like puzzle solving and stealth to regular combat in several areas (there's a lot of mindless fighting, don't get me wrong, but it's not all mindless fighting).

Finally got over to Solstheim and honestly I thought it was going to be large. Kind of sad it's so small, also though the little goblin dudes were gunna be evil so it freaked me out when they asked me to follow them. XD

I downloaded Bruma and I'm just started exploring out there, there is really so much map to cover and it's so neat to have new creatures as well like with the Moonpath mod. I haven't started Falskaar yet but I just downloaded Project AHO and I don't know if it's because it's so new that it still has some bugs, but I've been having problems with several of the quests... and with it being so fresh there's like no help anywhere online yet. =[

I actually played the game for the first time in about a year recently. It's still so awesome, and I don't even play it on PC. If I had a gaming PC, I'd be happy to share and whatnot. I can still chat about it in general though. lol

I love those little guys. I mostly butcher them, particularly with that shield charge bonus at 100 block near the cliffs. Sooo much fun just watching them fly all over the place. It's also fun to side with them though. They'll help you at random times when enemies attack. Plus, you won't feel bad if any of them die, unlike some of the followers.

I absolutely love Skyrim!! I've started playing Oblivion recently too. I also don't now whether or not I should remake my Skyrim character or deal with the very first one I've got. I can't seem to enjoy any of the other characters I make. I'd like to get invested in the game again.

Ironically I've picked back up on it recently, after watching someone on Twitch playing it, I've been doing my first ever mage build and it's pretty great. I'm a Necromancer!
