Silly, scared, little old me...

I too still have to play Thanksgiving (and Halloween for that matter!!), so this has been quite helpful to read through and know I should stock up on some fish beforehand. ~ I might do the same for some spare characters to get some extra stuff. I aim to play Halloween this weekend and Thanksgiving the next, so I can pace myself through the events if needed.

I have already experienced Toy day though, before deleting my very first town. And that was a nightmare for me, I failed it with my main and my mule character, and ended up making a new character to actually complete it. @.@ and that was with clues from 7/9 of my villagers! I intend on writing down everything my villagers say through December now out of paranoia from that stress.

Heh...I read your Xmas spoiler and KNOW that I'll need some clues or I'll panic myself half to death.

Okay, for the Festival, I mainly needed a couple of Saddled Birchir, a couple of Carp, a couple of Crucian Carp, a couple of Black Bass, a lobster, a scallop, a clam, Horse Mackeral, and Red Snapper.

Not too bad since I had saved a few up...but I hadn't seen, or else I forgot, all about the "secret ingredient." >_< DO NOT FORGET THAT! You do and no cornucopia.

I love Thonky SOOO much. But not HALF as much as you guys here. :)

The clues are pretty obvious to anyone who has their date in December now. ~ I just TT'd straight to Xmas on that town which meant I missed most of them. o: But even with them the event has the potential to be much harder than it should be. ~ Though on the upside all humans in town do the exact same thing, so if you have extra characters it's easy.

Wow, you need that many fish? Or was that between 4 characters? o: I'm still going to play it without preparing on my mayor, and then once I screw that up save the day with my spare. :P (who I best get catching some fish with)

I needed almost that many fish, but I DID use 2 characters to get it right finally.

You don't really need all that stuff, but it is good to have on hand. Diving is a pain, so I was glad I had a lobster, oyster (I forgot to mention that) and scallop on hand.

You need to get butter, milk, flour, and vinegar, and maybe a lemon or coconut from the villagers who are cooking. Some don't give you what you need right off, so you need to return to them. I had a lemon and coconut in town, but I got them anyway so I had to try several times to get the needed ingredient for Franklin.

No, you don't need them all, but it is a pretty good guess that someone is going to want at least ONE of those each time you visit; at least in my town I did. I had to help make 4 dishes, but I needed to see each villager at least twice to get what I needed. So yeah, a fish each time.
