Oh Nintendo.... You've given us the desire to craft our towns into a vision, why not the tools. Why - Why!?! can we not have a transparent background on tiles for our grass or sand. After painstakingly matching colours as best we can with the palette you've supplied - for hours - to try to make the spider, or footprint seem like a part of the landscape, the sun shifts and the ground darkens or the seasons change and the grass does too, so it once again looks like a tile lying on the ground.

Oh and since I'm in a ranting mood.... Why can't we customize wallpaper and carpet to match the furniture that is customized. If all pieces in a set are recoloured, would it not make sense to be able to match the largest visual aspect of the set the same way?

This is precisely why I don't have any patterns down on my floor, and as much as people complain about the grasswear it does get around this problem. ~ though I need to run around more often to wear my paths back in properly. :S

Also I'd love for them to make it so you can put tiles down on the angled river edges and along the cliff / underneath PWP, and have it auto transparent where the ground doesn't continue. I can't imagine that would be impossible to impliment.

ia about the wallpaper and flooring customization seriously >___> i hate the rococo goth set with the original wallpaper

I'd have to say Rococo is one of best for customization tbh.

Neutral color wall/floors seem to fare better imo for matching than the non-neutral ones. Plus the customized lamp adding a bit of a color tint to the room depending on what customization was chosen helps it as well.

ps there's like 3 different "goth" customization colors, not sure if you're talking all or just one of them

This is really really annoying. X_X

I'm sure in future games of AC, they'll add more features. :)

I hope so. They have the coding already in place, it's there when your character drops an item on the ground, I'm just frustrated because I'll only be able to update my DA at night, otherwise it'll look really off.....and I worked so hard at it too... :(
