Side character use?

I use side characters for filling up extra space in my town and mostly pattern holders. Its also fun to dress them up according to your town's theme, or to be able to use their house to create hotels/restaurants/schools etc.! Does anyone else use their side characters for something?

My side character's house made the southern half of my town look nice. Before, I was constantly struggling with it and building/demolishing PWPs over and over again. It's great to be fully content with the layout for once. c:

I created my second character because I wanted to decorate more rooms. I'm going to come up with a background story for her too. That's part of the fun. The extra storage space is also very useful but not why I initially created her.

I want to get some of the stupid badges such as travelling to 500 towns or having 500 dreams on all the profiles, lol.

I use side characters for the normal stuff. Patterns, storage, ect. I also use their houses to tell little stories in each, since my town doesn't have much of a theme. I haven't finished their houses, but I plan on making a cafe house, a horror house, and I haven't decided on the last one.

I have three characters... My mayor and two sides. They are both set characters and have a purpose in the town... in reality Foxxie does everything, but Haven is very mellow and loves to plant flowers and her (zen) house will eventually be a spa... Cypher is the town's resident tech guy and will have a modern house with lots of techie stuff... My side characters are nowhere near complete in game, but I have a pretty good idea who they will be

I have one side character mostly for storage of paths and items you can only get on special occasions/once. Its also nice to decorate a second house, my main house is to look like an actual house, my side character is just collection series I like and farming HHA points

i write letters to my side character as diary entries of sorts when i feel upset. i also store paths on his profile.

I use mine for patterns/extra storage; I'm also currently working on a horror town, so they're characters in that as well.

I plan on getting every badge with all 4 of my characters, and I want to max out and decorate each of their houses :3

When I create side characters, they're just as important to me as the mayor. Therefore, they do everything she does: build up a nice house, earn Bells, earn badges, donate to the museum and form friendships with the villagers.

I only have one side character atm and she's basically just holding some extra pattern, hehe!

I just have the one character, though it would have been nice to have a few characters for storage design and creativity/can store and have different themes and furniture in each houses.

I'm using my side character as pattern holder and I'm planning on turning his house into a cafe :3 I'm not sure what to do with my third character, I might use their house to hold some sets I want to keep.

I use my side character for storage and displaying the sets that I like which I can't fit in my mayor's house.

It's also great to chat with them as the villagers interact with them differently. I'm also likely to pick the meaner dialogue options because I don't really care about my side character.
