Sick villager

My favourite villager, Kody, is sick. I have to questions.

1- Will giving him medicine increase our friendship?
2- How long will I have to give him medicine before he recovers?

It usually takes three days for them to get better, so just give them medicine three times. As for friendship, I think it will increase because the villager will usually send you a thank you letter the day after they get better. Not 100% sure though.

Hi, giving a villager medicine will likely increase your friendship with them as it classed as a favor.

Give Kody medicine once a day until he gets better. It took three medicines (three days) for my Ankha to get better.

They should give you a gift the next time you talk to them when they're fully cured!

In wild world it took agesssss for them but luckily its 3 days in new leaf

Whenever I see a sick villager I always run to my cupboard to grab some medicine that I have stocked. I can't bear to see them sick and mopey! I am not sure if it's coincidence or not, but I received the villagers picture a few days after giving her medicine. I wonder if there's a correlation?

When I've helped a sick villager in this game, I've never gotten a picture.
Also they will getbetter on their own eventually. I realised I hadn't seen Graham in ages the other day and went to his house to find him sick. I forgot to go get medicine that day, but bought some the next day to take instead, and he was back outside with his little watering can like nothing had happened!

Unfortunately ignoring them probably isn't the best way to deal with it! Poor l'il guy!

Really? In my very first town (it's been restarted long ago) Alice was sick and I gave her medicine every day. 3 days passed and she was still sick...or maybe the days seemed incredibly long? I don't know, but when she was sick she remained that way until I restarted.
Could be just me, though.
It was a New Leaf town, by the way, not Wild World.

I don't actually know, but I'm just saying 3 as the other people are xD The main point I was trying to make was it took ages in wild world but I don't think it should take as long though in New leaf ;o
