sick on april fools

today I played and Zucker was sick. It's March 30th today, and you need to give villagers 3 days of medicine for them to get better.
So Zucker will still be sick on April Fools day, so will I still be able to go into his house on the event to get his pic, or will he still be sick?

I only ask because I plan on getting rid of Zucker once I get his picture (along with Soleil), so I was looking forward to April Fools so I can get rid of them once they ping as I can easily get their picture, but since Zucker is sick will I be able to get his pic on April Fools or not?

I think it will be like with moving villagers, he will be excluded. You could tt and give Medicean, then tt to April fools and do it all then??

I'm pretty sure villagers are not sick on event days even if they're already sick.

Oh hey this has actually happened to me! I had Quillson sick over Shamrock Day, black spirals and all, but he wasn't giving me the sick dialogue, just the regular holiday dialogue (so I couldn't give him his medicine until the day after). I assume it'll be the same, so Zucker will participate normally and revert to the sick dialogue next day.

Ed's sick today, too. I am pretty sure he would give me a pic when he moves, but April Fools would be a backup plan. Doesn't matter, though, as I really wanted to earn the pics naturally. Only Pecan and Ed are holdouts and it will annoy me if I get Pecan's because of the event and not her wanting to give it over.

It's weird how inconsistent this game can be. I had someone sick on Shamrock Day, and when I went to give him medicine, he first straightened up and looked healthy while he said, "Wow, that's a great hat!" Then, he was back to being sick and took the medicine.

Yes, this. He may be sick that day, but he's programmed to do something specific on that day, and he's going to do it no matter what.

Related question, if you have more then one character in your town, can you get villager pictures with all your characters or just one?

In my game, On the day before festivale, Cyrano was sick, but on festivale he was fine. I think the same thing would happen for all events, so what I'm thinking will happen is that you'll be able to get his picture on April Fool's day.

I know this because in my old town I was TTing out the villagers before my reset.
DIANA WAS SICK THE DAY BEFORE APRIL 1ST
... I gave her medicine but she was still sick on April Fools day... thus, I did not get her photo because she was not part of the event.
