i’m sky ( or pure ) + i recently restarted my acnh map w no item saving or anything at all! i had lost interest completely in this game for months but now tht ive restarted i can’t put my switch down c:

the map;​

i just unlocked terraforming so thts what im working on atm ( completely blanking my island, i like to start from scratch ) i didn’t take any ss before i started of my natural island unfortunately, but here’s where i’m at now

i’m super happy w my town hall, river, and peninsula placements + i don’t have much beach space which i like bc i don’t rly care for beaches in this game

the villagers;​

so far ( as u can see above ) my villagers r ::
apple, beau, bruce, hippeux, maggie, snake, flurry, savannah, tammy, and yuka
of the ones i have so far, i only want to keep maggie ( i have amiibos on the way )
my ‘dreamies’ list ( as i’ve seen ppl call it ) is

• fauna
• poppy
• lily
• molly
• merengue
• goldie
• maggie
• tia
• purrl
• maple

and those r the villagers i’ve bought amiibos for ( besides maggie )
some other villagers i like r chevre, ellie, skye, and tangy so if i ever get bored of my villagers they will most like b replaced by one of them
i’m going for a cottagecore/ fairy core theme for my island so i picked villagers best looking for tht + a few of them were just must haves bc i love their design ( like merengue )

the plans;​

the plan i have for my island rn is to have the whole left side raised and b the residential area, lily and molly will b neighbors and live in the very back in front of waterfalls and have a little path u have to jump on thru water since they’re both water dwelling animals — the other villagers so far im not sure exactly the placement but some kind of design along the edges of the raised bit so i can decorate the middle + i will b decorating each villagers yard based on their likes & aesthetic ( im super excited to do tht )
the middle just behind resident services will b a huge heart lake
that’s how i had my first island ( ++ i designed pixel wing cliffs on either side of it ) and i had my house in the middle
but now since i have more room with a better town hall placement, i’m going to make the center a place for my shops + maybe the museum i haven’t decided yet
the rest i don’t have solid plans for layout, i wanna do cute lakes, have an orchard, flower field, fishing spot, etc but rn i’m focused on what i do have exactly planned ( i’ll add pics as i make progress )
feel free to leave any advice, suggestions, or feedback <3 i’m always looking for ways to improve whatever i’m doing

updates;​

i took sort of a long break from animal crossing but i’ve recently got right back into it, i feel like it’s one of those games u can not play for 2 months & then play for a week straight lol. i’ve done a lot of terraforming since i started playing again + i ordered more amiibos since i have a new set of villagers tht i want. most r the same but i switched a few bc i decided i didn’t want an island full of normal villagers & i decided on other options tht would fit the aesthetic of my island better ( im going for kind of a pink + cottagecore theme )

the map;
here’s the work i’ve done so far, even on my first ever island i didn’t do this much work on it so i’m rly happy and proud of myself

the villagers;
there was a rly good sale on amiibos in the etsy shop i got my first 5 from so i ordered some extras of villagers i rly like but just won’t fit my aesthetic rn ( in case a change the design later ) + tht includes stitches ): he is so cute but i need room for others who will match the island better
my new dreamies list:

1 ellie - elephant (normal)

2 poppy - squirrel (normal)

3 bones - dog (lazy)

4 lily - frog (normal)

5 cookie - dog (peppy)

6 fauna - deer (normal)

7 merengue - rhino (normal)

8 molly - duck (normal)

9 purrl - cat (snooty)

10 maple - bear (normal)

merengue doesn’t match perfectly but she’s been my number 1 dream villager since day one so i need her & i wanted to keep it to one villager of each animal type but cookie was too adorable + helped w diversifying the personality types. normal type is my favorite to interact w but i thought it would b good to have at least a couple other types. ik it’s still not much diversity, but looking at the lists of acnh villagers, these r rly the only ones who match exactly what i’m going for + tht i personally like.
some other amiibos tht i have in case i change my theme & tht i love:
tangy, ketchup, tia, skye, stitches, and marina
