show me your museum entrances!

kept mine kind of laid back and natural looking :lemon:

Here's mine, I wanted to have a place to showcase the bug and fish models, so I created a plaza with stalls leading up to the museum. Although you can't see them, they are two megaloceros fossil on top of the waterfalls. There is an art exhibition behind the museum as well as the secret beach.

I don't have a picture atm, but I placed a birdwing butterfly and an atlas moth as an enterance to the museum.

Here's my entrance, and the area just the right of it (the left is some trees between it and the main river). Not nearly as fancy as some, but I think it's cute! I have considered putting it up on a higher level, though... but I think it works as is. I've made a few changes since I took these pics, but not many.

And there's just a neat pic of Cleo looking at the Triceratops! She actually has a magnifying glass in her hand, but it's hard to see.

Wow. I am so impressed by everyone’s museum areas. I love seeing everyone’s creativity ^.^; nice job everyone.

I don’t think mine can even can compare; it’s still WIP. I loosely based mine after an area in Dragon Age Inquisition - the well of sorrows. I took the screenshots at night since the area looks better when it’s dark.

Wall I built - the zen stone represents stone columns; the qr design isn’t mine. I have the link saved on my computer but not on my phone, so I can’t share it right now.

The mirror represents an eluvian, an elven magical artifact in DA.

Area next to the museum. This wasn’t in DA but just was something I thought of. @jinglefruit’s use of the moon here inspired me to try to use it for something.

I picked this particular fossil since a deer like creature (the halla) were important to the Dalish Elves in the game and the ruins that i lossely based my area on was an elven ruin.

I’m in the process of destroying the stairs in the back on the right. That area represents the Crossroads an area with a bunch of different Eluvians; very loose interpretation.

All that’s in front of my museum right now is a path and fruit trees, otherwise I would’ve taken a picture of it as well.

I was really happy with my museum area but now I feel like I might need to change it up. The pond was supposed to represent the well of sorrows (which was round not square).

I can't fit it in 1 picture but this is one of the views at night :D Only some doubt about the benches to replace them with other ones. And the fountain is also missing in the picture but well... it's also not that important haha.

Dom gave me a fake stone head statue so I used it to decorate the front of my museum. He now smiles at visitors

Long post is long but...

I created a land bridge with small islands beside it leading to the museum.

Then the museum itself is fenced in and has bamboo to each side.

To the left is a small lake with a few small waterfalls leading into the lake/river below and more bamboo.

To the right is more bamboo and a short path to Ables.
