Yep I knowLook at those eyes lol how cute!
Is it hard for you to let them go once they find homes? I would LOVE to foster kittens, but I think I would be too emotional letting them go, and would end up with a hundred kitties4 of 5 foster kitties
It does get hard to let them go but I know they're going to good homesIs it hard for you to let them go once they find homes? I would LOVE to foster kittens, but I think I would be too emotional letting them go, and would end up with a hundred kitties
Trust me. I completely get it. I told my parents the same thing with every foster we getI'd love to foster but I was pushing my luck when it came to getting the first cat lol. After the second one, my bf said it was too many. Now we have four, so bringing any more home would be too much![]()
I love that reaction from cats! Is it just my cats over the years, or do they always make direct eye contact when making that funny face, like... "dude... seriously... "This is a really old pic, but I finally was able to capture her 'ew that's stinky' face

I don't know if you know this, but after seeing it so many times I had to look it up. Cats apparently do this to let smells travel into their mouth and a special duct that lets them further investigate the smell. So they have to keep their mouth opened like that to let the stink waft inI love that reaction from cats! Those boxes are to keep my dogs from barking out the window. But the cat in the bowl is actually sleeping on food...

They're adorable! Been thinking about building a cat wall for mine...We adopted 2 one year old kittens a few years back. Here one of my favorites. Ash is part Siamese and after living with RB (Royal Brat) for a few years we are convinced he is part tuxedo rag doll.
My husband has always been an avid basset hound lover and we have been involved in fostering, transport and many adoptions over our 40 years of marriage. (Both bassets and cats)
We are convinced RB is a reincarnated basset hound and that he came back as a cat because we are elderly and no longer have the strength to pick up 70-80 lbs of basset and carry them to a vet when they are sick.
The cuddle photo is from when they were about 2 years old. The sink one was RB just over a year old. They will be four next month. For Christmas last year we built them a Cat Wall. The last one is Ash helping me with fabric to sew curtains.
TY!They're adorable! Been thinking about building a cat wall for mine...
Thanks for the advice! If I decide the kittens aren't too reckless/violent and build something, I'll take my time like you did.TY!
After looking at outrageous prices, we opted to buy 3 unpainted sets that were all different to accommodate both late kitten and early cat gaits and jumping ability (ages 3-5 YRS). Painted everything white and then put up the steps and shelves up gradually over 10 days. Some kitten steps were attached too closely together on the board so we bought a longer plain board, painted it and spaced the steps on it farther apart.
Taking it slow helped us to watch them figure out what they preferred and avoided so that we could adjust spacing a height. Everything was secured to studs in the wall so it could accommodate the force of a 30 lb cat jumping.
