So, I had my island since release day pretty much and it took me ages to make it in the first place because I was definitely not used to terraforming. At the end of the year/beginning of January I felt like I hated it and almost restarted but I decided to give it another chance because I loved that it was the very first island from release date and I loved my villagers. I spent every single night looking at tutorials on yt to learn how to terraform(well we are in lockdown so I had a lot of spare time at night) and finally started to shape a more natural island. It’s not amazing, by any means but finally I am happy with the layout!

I'm being nosey and went to your dream address.
Its out of date... just so you know ;)

It does look good though!

This is the best pic I could find of my original layout:

This is my map now:

Took out the island, changed the river and cliffs slightly, removed the ponds and added my own. I didn’t do a ton of terraforming but enough to fix all the things I didn’t like with the map.
