Why not? They're giving is plenty of fantastic new designs as evidenced from NH.
The only reason I'd ever say no is if they decided to go down the road of adding significant depth to each villager, which I would personally love more than anything. But I don't want to see a lot of my favorite villagers sacrificed in the process. =(
