Should I TT?

I've played since the game released (though i've gone through may different towns) but I never meddled with Time Travelling. I liked the idea, and was considering, after i've achieved my goals in this playthrough, if I should turn my town into maybe a farming town? by that i mean, breed hybrids, dig fossils, cycle villagers, stuff like that for others who are trying to get their own perfect town with goals in mind. I don't care about the town getting overrun with weeds, though i'd prefer to get an animal's pic before they cycle out.. But I digress.

Is this something that could help other players, or should i just drop the idea?

Firstly, are you referring this to time travelling? If your goal is to obtain hybrids and dig up fossils everyday, then there wouldn't be a need to time travel significantly to cause so many weeds anyway.

If you're intending to provide players with items and such, then it would absolutely be beneficial; if that's the answer you're looking for?

I think you should TT if you want. It sounds like it'd be fun based off of what you've mentioned your idea is for your town. Good luck!

Most people Tt to obtain certain stuff and it is completely normal. The bad thing about time traveling is that it destroys turnips, creates weeds and wilts flowers easily if you dont apply the clean town ordinance, makes it more likely and riskier for a villager to move out, and messes up the timeline of your town tree a bit.

For easier pickings, if you want to get the villagers’ pictures before they leave, time travel around april fools. This is the easiest method to obtain their pictures without having to befriend them.

Just do whatever you want buddy. I’m a time traveler too so no need to be ashamed of.
