I've known this guy since preschool, let's call him Billy Bob. We've been best friends since that time and in the past 3 years I've gotten a crush on him. He is leaving for high school next year. I've been wondering if I should tell him that I like him or let it slide. I hate to sound like a stereotypical teen girl, but I feel like I'm in love with him. I'm afraid of screwing up our friendship but at the same time I feel he should know. He's never dated before or been involved in drama. Same with me. I just hate to drag him into the drama part. My friend liked a guy a lot and she liked her but they never said anything to eachother, and now she moved away and she regrets it every day of her life. I told her I would tell Billy Bob on the 12th, but I'm wondering, should I?

A lot of people think telling him that you like him will make it akward between you guys.. But
I think it just brought me closer to my friend.

I'm not trying to be a troll. I saw the thread TheDoctor made and it gave me the courage to make this one. I had a feeling I might come off as a troll, but I really just wanted an answer to my question. And I do have an actual account on here, but people I know in real life go on this forum and I didn't want them to see me ask that question. So I made this account. I'm probably not going to use it again, and I hope having made two accounts isn't against the rules or anything. I'd hate to banned from this forum on my real account.
