Should I take the plunge and remodel my house at Nook's?

I have the entire mermaid exterior and it took quite a while to get it all.

I love my house and even though I time travel 2-3 days every day, I just don't want to risk not being able to find the roof for weeks-months in game or the mailbox or whatever if I change the exterior.

Someone talk me into turning my house into a majestic castle and throwing caution to the wind lol.​

Besides, if you ever decide you want to switch back to your old exterior again, it is possible. Just make your house look like whatever you enjoy.
