Wait but you can reset to make them choose someone else if you don’t like who they’re picking! As long as you soft reset when the name comes up and you don’t make a decision

I would say invite him! You could try to reset and replace Genji with him (since it seems you would like to get the pics from the other two villagers you mentioned?) and if you ever feel like to miss Genji at some point, you can bring him back anytime.

He is so cute ❤; I’m very jealous that you got him since I keep getting villagers I don’t want with the exception of Purrl (who I passed up and now regret) and Katt (whom I had no room for and I was still trying to get the pictures from my temporary villagers).

I guess I’m the representative for the no side. Personally I just don’t like any of the ‘super hero’ villagers. No deeper meaning, and a lot of people seem to love them, but they are not for me. Of the super hero types, he is the cutest to me though, for what it is worth.

On the practical side of things, when I am not sure about whether to invite a camper I do what @Insulaire is suggesting and see who they ask to kick out and then act . Though sometimes then I get invested as a result and take them whether I want them or not. But that can be fun too.

Yooo, I’m the same way. I just DON’T care for the superhero neighbors. They just don’t match my island, and even if they did, I can’t get myself to love the design of any of them.

To saucySheep though: do you love Spike? If he’s not a neighbor you wanna move out, then I suggest don’t do it. You don’t wanna have regrets if you can’t get him back that easily. :u

Definitely don’t do it then! Spike is actually kinda cute—and this is coming from someone who doesn’t like the rhinos, haha. It’s not worth the emotional traumaaa.

Oh, and if he suggested Spike, TURN THE POWER OFF BEFORE YOU SAY NO. You can reset to get him to select a new villager. But once you say no, it locks in their villager choice

Always love hearing about your ongoing change in villager taste, because I am so right there with you! So funny how much my views on villagers has changed in a few months. At this rate I’ll somehow like kid Cat by this time next year.

Ditto on the flipside . I always appreciate your insight and opinions whether they changed or not ^.^; they differ from mine a little which is helpful and fun to hear. These forums have time and time again, taught me that I should be more open minded about villagers and I’d like to think I have become a lot more. There are a few I’ll probably not budge on though like Naomi, Alli, Rocket, but I’ll try since it has made island hopping a lot more fun and exciting and made reading threads more enjoyable as well.
