Should I restart? Please help!

Hi guys. I have been debating this for a while now. I don't know if to restart or not, so I'm going to leave it up to everyone else here.

I'm first going to list the reasons why I want to restart...

My town's layout is incredibly awkward. Where my house is, where the town hall is, etc. I wanted a lovely path leading up to my house, but there is no path to lead it up to (due to my house being right near a lake.)
I also want to base my town around a actual theme. At first, I was going to go with a Japanese styled town (thus naming it "Sakura.") but I think it looks a bit too cliche, if you get what I mean. If I were to restart, I'd like to start a town based on stars and things like that, with blue and purple hybrids. I would also want dreamies that fit in with the town, and aren't too pink like my current villagers. So, because everyone does fairytale/pink themed, I want my town to stand out and be a bit different. I like to be unique... If that's the word. I'd also make some bells out of all the pink hybrids I'd sell.

Here's why I don't want to...

I have *a lot* of bells. 1billion. It'd be lots of effort to drop them off at a friends town and pick them up. It'd also take a while to get Mable to open up to me again, get Cyrus to wake up, get all my badges and such. Plus expanding my house again. And again, it'd take ages to take Public Works Projects unless I keep at it all day. Then I'd also have to spend lots of money on hybrids, new dreamies, etc. And I'd have to upgrade nooks and unlock shampoodles all over again. And 100 visitors for train station... I'm very lazy, but love Animal Crossing when I have something fun to focus on such as decorating. Decoration is the main reason why I want to.

I'm debating with myself and don't know what to do. I need your guys help, please.
Thank you! Oh, and if you do think I should restart, please suggest a name. Something cute but yet star themed, if you get what I mean.

If you were to restart, it would be a lot of work to get back to where you are now, but if you'd be happier with a new layout, then I think you should! Maybe you could name your town after a galaxy name. Or maybe base your town after the planets and the Sun in our galaxy!...

Now I really want to do that though XD

Yeah, I would be really happier with a new layout. It's *so* awkward. I was really dumb to choose it. xc

The decision to reset is entirely up to you, if your happy with the progress you've made then don't reset but if your unhappy with the layout and other factors then go for a reset

I know you said you decided, but there is another option that you did not list and that is to purchase another copy of the game.

This has certain advantages

1) you can leverage your existing town to buy items, transfer or help grow hybrids, etc.
2) you can turn your existing town into a cycle town to help get the dreamies you want.
3) you can use the existing town to hold dreamies until space is made in your new town.
4) after everything is set-up in your new town, you then could reset and work towards a different theme if you wanted.

and as to closing this thread, I think you have to request that from an admin.

I changed my mind and I'm not restarting now. I'm too lazy.

And I would if I could, but I'm not loaded on money, being young and all. My mother wouldn't let me have a new game out of the blue. But it's fine now ^-^ Thanks for the advice.

I am restarting I made a thread and nobody has replied I think u should considering u hate your layout I am restarting, I would also like someone else to with me so considering both our problems I think we should and also I think related to planets is a good idea
