So, I just made another town, but I'm not sure if I should reset or not.

My town square is super close to the tracks, so I can't hide them with trees, bushes, etc. Problem is, I have Stitches, and I don't want to lose him ... any suggestions on what to do?

Restart, if the map sucks.

You can always adopt Stitches. ^_^
Otherwise months will go by, and you'll have invested so much time in a town you don't really feel comfortable in.

Does it really bother you that you'll see the train tracks behind your town square? You're kind of stuck in a rough ultimatum.

The only other option I could think of which might take forever, is to have Stitches move into a friend's town as a place holder, and then when he's about to move out of the said friend's place, you take him back.

Otherwise you can either find someone here who's auctioning/giving away Stitches when you restart.

lol I know it sounds dumb, but yeah I don't like looking at the train tracks - I feel like they take away from the town.

I think I'll reset, and hopefully I can either get an amiibo Stitches card, or adopt him for a decent price.

Thanks for the input :)

The Stitches amiibo card is really easy to get too, since it comes with Amiibo Festival, which is really cheap now

Due to the Amiibo update someone on the forums in bound to have him and is willing to sell him to you.

I say reset if the plaza placement really matters that much to you and don't settle on a town until you feel like it's the one for you.

I totally understand if you don't like your map.

Are you sure you can't plant trees around the town tree?
I ask because I thought I couldn't and then I saw that I could on my old town.

My tree in Pixel is really close to the train station - at first I thought I didn't like the train tracks but once I put flowers around the tree I no longer think of it!

Keep in mind that trees can be planted against the stone of the plaza! They don't need an extra space away from it
