Should I Reset My Town?

I got my game about a year ago, but I am unhappy with the layout now. I also dislike most of my villagers, and my town is kind of messy. I cheated a lot to get shops and stuff (time travelled) and I also don't like how cluttered everything is.
The only things actually stopping me is my saved letters from when I had my dreamies, and my millions of bells :-( I would give them to someone to hold for me (well, I can't do that with letters) but I'm very paranoid as I've had people keep things before :-(

I'd reset. If you're unhappy with the layout, take your time resetting to get one you're happy with.

For Bells, you can get earn them back. Might take a while, but with the island and turnips, you should have no problem if you have patience.

For dream villagers, you don't have them anyway, so just reset and aim to get them back.

Personally, I find that ACNL is a game that I cannot TT in order to get what I want. Otherwise it just loses its appeal for me, because I got everything so easily. Maybe you're that type of person too, maybe not, but just bare that in mind.

You could get rid of everything and have a completely fresh start!

I would reset to be honest, there is no point on keeping your town is your unhappy with it and also one important thing:

Will the rest be worth it?

Also try and get a bit of tbt (Bell tree bells which are displayed under your posts) I know you joined today (welcome to the forums!) but try to collect some and sell it, people will often buy 100tbt for 5-10 million bells! (you own tbt by posting)

Yeah, you should definitely do that. Personally I would play the game without TTing or item trades and only use the TBT bells to buy DLC, exclusives, and possibly villagers. The game seems to last longer that way.

A way that you could earn tbt is by exchanging in-game bells for tbt and then when you are in your new town you can have people buy your tbt off of you :3 just a thought!
