I finished my town a couple weeks ago, and after now completing the encyclopedia there's not a whole lot to do. I'm just going through the motions really. I want to start a new town, but can't quite bring myself to reset, a year's worth of work would be gone! But I don't really want to waste money on a second copy, and I know I could just visit my old town through the dreamsuite.....what would you guys do?

I'd work on completing EVERYTHING (badges, catalogs, etc) first before resetting. The game is worthless if you get bored of it so eventually, if it were me, I'd reset. BUT! It would suck to reset if you're that close on beating the whole game!

I wouldn't. If you don't want a second copy just try to change it up a little. Maybe re-arrange your layout, change out pwps, design your own paths, try to theme it. ie coordinating flowers and patterns to the changing seasons or a holiday or something.

I wouldn't reset your finished town. If you get bored of it, you could just re-landscape it completely, or move new villagers in? If the game feels a bit stale I would just set some new goals instead of starting over. :) Congrats on your finished town by the way.

Don't reset. There's always things to do. Try organizing your town more or try breeding new hybrids to put in your town?

Thanks guys, I've decided to keep this town and try and finish the art gallery in the museum and get to 500 hours of gameplay, I'm on about 460 at the moment. Have also had the idea to turn one of the museum rooms into a city apartment! Might see how much a second hand copy costs, incase I do want to start a new town.

Sounds like a great idea. ^^ I hope you're enjoying the game a bit more now. :)
