Should I reset? Also, what should I call my town?

My town is only a week or two old, but I've been thinking of resetting because I don't like the name or map that much. This is my map:

Things I like about my town:
- Triangle grass!
- The rock placement isn't that bad, except for one rock right beside the plaza
- I like my mayor's house location because I can put another player house beside it
- I don't have a private beach
- Only two ponds I guess?
- I got some popular villagers such as Tia and Julian (I don't even like them that much though)
- I've donated a LOT of stuff to the museum, and caught 50% of the fish (I think).

Things I dislike:
- Town tree placement!!! It's shoved so close into a corner that I can't even border it with trees. At some parts, it's only ONE SPACE away from the edge. I also prefer a central town tree, or one in literally any other location. Ew. This is probably the biggest problem I have with my town.
- My town name. I called it Azalea, which sounds good from a Fall/Autumn town, but kind of weird for the rest of the year.
- My map isn't great but it could be worse. It could be a LOT better though, and I have lots of time to reset due to it being Easter weekend.
- My fruit is peaches. I don't really care that much about fruit, but I would rather not have peaches. Personally I think apples>>>>>cherries>>>pears>peaches>oranges.

Anyways if I reset, I'll choose a different name for my town, but I don't know what to choose. I was considering Mistwood, but that would be weird in Fall and Winter. Plz help

I'm not good with town names. If I were you I would reset since you barely started and because your map is complicated. In my opinion.

I would reset if I were you. But first, I would sell Tia and Julian on the VTP, then you can buy back all the stuff you donated in the ReTail forum lol
You can find someone who will hold all your stuff for you! I'd personally be happy to do it for you! As for town names, I would come up with a theme for your town first and go from there, or just think of things you like and use those! Good luck~

If you hate the town after just a week or two, reset. Get it over with before putting too much work into it.

I think you are not really happy with your town, so if you?re not so much attached to it, I?d say reset your game. Personally I think
it is a nice map with lots of space, and a south-facing waterfall is a plus. You haven?t spend so much time and work on your town so far, so if you?re leaning towards resetting, do it. I hope you won?t regret it, good luck with your decision!

I'd reset as well. If you can't see yourself every coming to like it you may as well reset as you have the time now and haven't put too much into it.

Other than that, you could simply google some town names and get some ideas. I know japanese names are probably the best option since they all have their own special meaning in english. That's honestly how a majority of the people I know, including myself, got our town names. Also, you can always just outline the tree with hybird flowers, or place a bunch of paths around it to add an accent to your town. As for the fruit problem..you can always just take other fruits and plant more. Like..my native fruit is peach, but I planted a bunch of trees of different fruits that I actually have more orange trees and lychee trees than peach. Just disguise your native fruit by planting others around :/ I didn't intend to do it at first, but I went too far and ended up like this haha. Also, your town map isn't that bad from my opinion. I personally would have that instead of my current map. Also, your town name is perfectly fine ._. Imo, it actually does go well with all the seasons..but I suggest to try not to over think the little things..? because I didn't even know people paid attention to the shapes of their grass. I've been playing for over five months and even I don't know that much detail about my town o-o But yeah..it's honestly your decision. If you have more cons about your town then pros, I suggest starting new. Good luck

I've decided that I won't restart, because I started at the same time as my friend so that would be kinda rude. I'm fine with everything in my town except the stupid town tree (I just wrote random stuff I somewhat dislike as cons to fill up space). I just HATE that stupid tree so much, especially since it's the first thing people will see when they visit my dream town. Oh well. C'est la vie.
