I've heard a lot of hype about it. I've played the first PW (Ace Attorney) and really enjoyed it, but this new PW needs to be downloaded and idk how good it will be...also, should I wait for the Professor Langston vs. PW game to come out instead?

I think Dual Destinies is a really good and entertaining game in the Ace Attorney series, one of the best by far, and I'm so excited for the Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright game to come out (already pre-ordered). While I wasn't too totally excited over Dual Destinies just being a digital download I really ended up enjoying it.

lmfao @ professor langston

As for my opinion on Dual Destinies, I think it didn't manage to live up to previous titles. Too much jumping around, Phoenix Wright is basically a superhero lawyer of sorts with that stupid introduction, and it just seems like the court is even more stupid than before.

I haven't beaten it yet, because I haven't really been able to find the motivation for it, so I'm not sure if it gets better or not. But from what I've played, it's not that special.

There was a thread about this game a while ago. :) In general, I'd say most people liked the game very much, including myself.

I absolutely loved the game, actually, but I had never played an Ace Attorney game before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I had a blast with it, though, and am very much looking forward to the 3DS remake of the original trilogy coming to Europe.

That reminds me, Dual Destinies has a demo you can download, so you can try the game and get some idea whether you'd like it or not.

As for Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney; I have the game and I've played it for a while but I kinda stopped. Mostly because of a lack of time. I can't play that often and sometimes I can only play like half an hour or something. That's somewhat of a problem for me with a game like this because of the trials. But I do plan on beginning to play again later today!

Dual Destinies is a good game, the soundtrack, the graphics, the plot and characters are awesome. Although, I would warn you that it isn't quite as good as the original trilogy games...

I would also get Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright because it's really really good! The start is quite slow but once you get into it it's really good. The puzzles and court scenes fjkhgahkfjfdi

Also, if you've only played the first ace attorney i strongly recommend that you play justice for all and especially trials and tribulations!

I played the demo of Dual Destinies, and it was amazing! It made me consider becoming a lawyer, haha (not gonna happen). The soundtrack/music was great, and the different cases to solve are lots of fun.

I'll be buying the full game soon, after playing my friend's game. Makes me want to play the older games too.

If you're going to get it, play the next two games and Apollo Justice if you want the full impact. Also because the other two games are really good. Justice for All is okay but Trials and Tribulations is just as good as, if not better than the first one.
