Should I move out Diana in favor of a Cranky villager?

Alright so, I have Cashmere now, but I already have a snooty villager which is Diana. Another problem is, is that if I have two snooty villagers, it'll break the 5 gender and 8 personality balance I have in my island.

Anyone wondering, these are my current residents:

Lazy: Raddle
Jock: Sprocket
Smug: Eugene and Raymond
Normal: Pekoe
Peppy: Chrissy and Ketchup
Snooty: Diana and Cashmere
Sisterly: Mira

You don't see a Cranky villager right? That's the reason I want to move out Diana and reunite with the OCD of my 5 gender and 8 personality balance. Thing is, I like Diana, and to do this I want her out the most as 1: I just recently got Cashmere. 2: I don't want to move out either Eugene or Raymond to have them replaced for a Cranky. And 3: I need a cranky not only to do the aformentioned OCD thing, but also to be able to unlock the last remaining reaction that has an increased chance for the Cranky personality. It being "Inspiration"

I don't know what to do here, mind if you help out? Thanks!

I'm not very into Francine. And btw, there are at least some that have Chrissy/Francine and not have the other. Me included.

Yes, move her out. I am the same way and want all personalities and a gender balance.

My personal favorite Cranky is Static, but I know a lot of people like Apollo, Fang, and Octavian.

I personally would move Cashmere just because I think she is one of the worst designed villagers in this game, but since you’re giving her a chance I guess get rid of Diana. Not what I would do but everyone has their own preferences. I totally get wanting a balance. I always like having 5 males and 5 females and all personalities present. I currently have 2 snooties (Blanche and Judy) and two crankies (Apollo and Wolfgang). I love Wolfgang and all but I can’t recommend Apollo enough. He looks and talks like an old man so much more than Wolfgang does. He’s really growing on me.

I've been thinking about having Murphy on my island. A wolf would be cliche in my eyes. But if I DID want a wolf, it would probably be Dobie.

I have Murphy in New Leaf and I love him. Almost took him when I found him in New Horizons but I found Apollo on an island later and I’m happy I tried him out.

I see what you mean. I never liked Cashmere in the first place, but since I thought I gave her a try in my New Leaf town I grew on her a lot. Plus not seeing many people like her for her ugly design, it makes me liking her feel "Special".

Something to consider, are you moving them in via amiibo? Bc there’s no villager cycle limit in this game. If you regret moving someone in or out you can change it by rescanning them in the next day. You have to rebuild your friendship as they won’t remember you, but that’s the only downside.

And what if you keep both of them for a while and see which one you would prefer in the end? I have 3 Crankys and for now I know that Hopper did nothing for me. Like his house is cool and all, but we never really bonded or anything, even if I liked him design-wise.

Or you wait until someone gives you their Picture (could take a while).

Murphy is a cute idea for a cranky btw.

Yeah, and i'd most likely get her back if I want anyway as I have her amiibo card. As if keeping Diana wins, I'll most likely move her out for Murphy, as I also have his amiibo card as well. I would never move out Cashmere as liking her is one thing, another is I don't have her amiibo card.

Diana, in my opinion, is one of the best designed snooty villagers. Because you lack a cranky, you could do the campsite trick and spawn Murphy in your campsite. Then, he could kick out Cashmere. Campsite visitors can kick out any resident, including the most recent move-in.

I have two crankies and I wouldn't let them move. Crankies at the best, and I will always vote in favor of them.
