should i make my town full of bear cubs?

since it won't let me add a poll to my other thread (i guess it's too old, i can't lock it either) here we are

ignore my list of dreamies and permanent villagers this time around

things to consider:

• i'm 14 (which i've repeated far too many times whoops sorry) so i can't get a job, i could only get money as a Christmas gift. if i have enough money to get a second copy, i will. but for now assume that i don't.
• sylvia and flora have been in my town almost since i started playing (flora being original). i could let go of flora in exchange for pudge (who was also one of my originals), but i don't know what i can do with sylvia.
• coco, chrissy and francine are major dreamies. but, in case you didn't know, they're all rabbits. aka, not cubs.
• cubs are my absolute favorite species in acnl. it's probably because of pudge and chester
• i can not hack my game (since i don't own a computer). i do know the villager house placement trick that you can do without using hacks, but even then i can't dictate where the cubs are.
• i hate most smug villagers. so don't worry about the whole personality equality thing
• i'm a big fan of the idea of single-species towns. i do want a bear cub town for sure, the question is whether or not i should make one.

Maybe you could make half of your villager bear cubs, and then the other half of them rabbits, or just get your 3 rabbit dreamies and make the rest bear cubs. Idk, I guess it would depend on how badly you want your dreamies vs. how bad you want the 1 species town.

Okay, I read all the reasons on your entry and I say, GO ALL CUBS!

Get the cubs you like best (such as the aforementioned Pudge and Chester), as well as your other dreamies, and keep Sylvia and Flora. You may not be happy with the all-cubs town, in the end, but you WILL be happy being surrounded by the villlagers you love the most.

Yeah I'd go for all cubs. It's never possible to fit all your dreamies in one town anyways.

But I get a feeling that you don't truly like allllll the cubs?

Maybe just try to get cubs as they come to you - with or without another town. Species tend to grow on you and all the sudden you have an all species town. I've seen it happen here on the boards lots of times.

I love cubs and obviously you do, too. If you manage to get a second copy, why not go for it? If you end up not liking all of the cubs, then you can let some move out and replace them with any villager you do like.
