Should I make my own villager popularity list?

I think she does a fantastic job with it. Honestly if you don't have a ton of free time, I'd suggest you don't start one.

I would only follow the one to be honest and that would be Alexi's. Having 2 would severely confuse maters when it comes to buying and selling villagers, can see it causing a lot of problems.

a second popularity list would make things extremely chaotic imo.... because then you get fights over which one to use, and reasonings...
I think you should have stronger evidence to any villagers you have gripes with... come up with a succinct singular post with all your evidence rather than posting 5 times in a short span of time on the popularity list.
Alexi is on much more than the average Bell Tree-er and I think her eye for placing the villagers is spot on. Maybe try to see things from a different perspective too. Also villagers only a few spots apart can be very variable and you have to look at any list like that with a sort of standard deviation. Just because every time you are on and seem to see the same villagers, doesn't mean they are specifically worthy of higher spots
I felt similar to what you are saying about Houndoomed's when I first discovered, but once I saw his way of determining and saw his experience with the villagers and the plaza, I didn't question him anymore

& I only stay in the VTP. I dont go to any other subforums besides the cellar to play mafia, or the tbt marketplace for collectibles. If you think you have almost an entire day to dedicate yourself to it, everyday, of every week and month... good luck.

The point of a villager popularity list is not to rank your favorite villagers, it's to rank villagers by how many people want them in their towns. If you disagree with Alexi's methodology for ranking them, then you should let her know that and how you would do it differently. If a villager is ranked lower than you think it should be, then blame people for not liking that villager; don't blame Alexi for just reporting that people don't like the villager as much as you think they should.
