Should I make a second character?

I made a thread about this before, and I really am tempted, but I can barely play on one character per-day. If I make a character for just patterns (since the main pattern I use takes up 9 spaces), will it effect gameplay at all? I probably won't speak to the villagers at all on that character. Can that result in them moving away?

I was against making any extra characters... Until I made my new town.
I made Star (a hotel house) and Lilly (a garden house).
Lilly since she is garden and landscape oriented, I have her doing my paths. ^-^

They only pain is when you are on your main character and you get hit with inspiration but all the paths are on your side character. XP

If you believe in the "needed" factor on how some villagers move... then yes, it can effect them feeling needed by that character and want to leave.
But if you don't talk to ANYONE with that character, then there is no harm really because everyone is being treated equally. XP

Well, I have plans for my town that go a little something like this:
1. Cover ground in purple and blue roses, purple and blue pansies
2. Have purple paths with a pink azalea pink hydrangea and then blue hydrangea edge
3. Mayor's house will be a GracieGrace themed house
4. Secondary character's house will be event and DLC themed house
5. Obtain all dreamies
I'm currently working on all of the steps, but if you only feel the need for one character, then only have one character.

The problem is, I want a second character in order to have new paths to customize my town further! What I am worried about is how it can effect my villagers. I don't want them to move away without telling my main character~

I am strictly to 2 character, not more =x One is my grand mayor's house and another will be a small inn in the town for visitors and my assistant live in the basement xD also he's my gardener and got a strange hobby to run around cross-dressing (he's a boy with hair bow wig).

LOL don't worry bout that, they will tell your mayor =x I have my 2nd character talk to them once in a while so even after 2 months he still having the new face rumors xD but if they ever think to move they still do ping him~
