I'm considering purchasing a second town, but ther are some things that I'm unsure about
o; Should I make a hack Rainforest Town?
o; What would I name it?
o; Is it worth forking out ?25?
I'm honestly not sure. Any opinions?

There are certainly advantages to having two...though as for hacking, I couldn't say. It's not something I have ever done.

As for town names... Tropica could be a cute name. :3

Do whatever you want. It's your money and your town. If you have these ideas, just go with them. If you end up hating it, you can always restart.

Tropica is very cute name! I'm unsure really. Depends if I find one cheap enough on eBay x.x

You should totally make a hack town! They're so cool! :D

I have a second town too and I'm not exactly sure what I use it for but I still have it.

I definitely wouldn't waste my money on a brand new one though.

I suggest you buy a used copy of ACNL to save money and do whatever you want with the copy!
You could make this second town a cycling town if you're in need of tbt/igb too!
If you do decide on making a hack town, I wouldn't openly talk about it on here as hacking/promoting hacking is against the rules of the forum.

I have two copies but the problem I face is I only have one 3ds so I can't trade between towns :(

Oh, is this discussion not allowed?

--------please halt any comments about hack related then, please!-------------------------

I have two towns in City Folk, but not with Animal Crossing. I might make a second town once I'm finished with my first town, and then I'll be able to send all of my money to that town and do some cool stuff with it. I'd totally go with making a second town!

I don't have a second town because I don't think I'd have enough time to keep up with it. I'd probably get one if I had more free time to manage it or if I really wanted to make multiple theme towns or just swap items and villagers back and forth. If you think you'd have fun with a second town, I don't see why you shouldn't get it. :) As to the price, if you don't plan on playing it as much, maybe you could buy it used.

A while ago I was tempted to make a Game of Thrones town with a huge row of bushes to represent 'The Wall' and villagers like Drago near Daenaryris (HOW DO YOU SPELL THAT???) house and lots of smug ones near Joffrey's >.<

If you have the time to spend on another town go for it. I have 3 real towns. One of those doesn't get played all the time.
When I get a mover I save/quit and put it in the case. Put a new sticker with the last date and time played. Also write it in the note section on the 3DS.
The activity log on the 3DS wouldn't help you if you have two copies.

I run two towns and while it was fun in the beginning, it's becoming a really big chore and I regret it.

I just bought another copy of New Leaf, just so I could make a second town, because I really don't want to lose Westerly.

I think you should definitely get a second town if money isn't a problem! I have two towns and I'm really glad, and sometimes I wish I had a third one.

Ahem. Personally i wouldn't buy another game simply because i find it unfair enough we dont have the option of having more than one town, so i'm not going to support that by wasting another 25-30 dollars on a game. While i do understand many people want more than one town, its not worth it at all to me
