Should I make a bird only island or cat only island?

I think mixing a bird island with a handful of cats would be a lot of fun. But on the other hand I also really adore cat villagers.

I would go with the bird island. I have an all-bird species island as one of my New Leaf towns, featuring at least one representative of each bird species (Birds, Eagles, Penguins, etc.) and I really like it. It also seems like it's less common compared to the all-cat towns and more interesting as a result. While you have some clear ideas for the cat town, it could be fun to figure out how to reconfigure things to go with the bird town. I also agree with starlightsong that it would fit well with the tropical island setting.

I love the idea of a bird island! the idea of making each villager's house a "nest" with qr codes comes to mind! It's such a unique idea, and there's so much you could do with it.

Ultimately its whatever you are the happiest with! But for my opinion I would say do a bird island if you have done cat islands before to experiment, you can always move out the villagers for ones you want.

if you still adore the cats but want a bit more variety, you could consider adding some of the lions and tigers to the mix!!

i would say cat island because i want my girlfriends lolly and rosie on there,, but never seen a bird island !! i think it would be pretty unique c:

I LOVE Cats don't get me wrong! but I think it would be WAY more unique and fitting with the Island Theme to have a Bird Island!
