Should I make a 4th character?! (permanent)

I'm undecided to if I should make a fourth permanent character. I have a spot that I think would be perfect for such a house (in front of the two ponds, see my sig, I made the path end where the house would start) but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. It's pretty useful to be able to create a character for a while...?

On the other hand I could make a path through that spot to the area above...

What things do I lose if I do so?

Bad things:
- No more plot/camper reseting (seeing how I have my dreamies this shouldn't matter)
- No more x copies of event items (I don't care about that so yeah)
+ Do I still lose some options I lose I'm forgetting?
- House blocks other things from being built

Good things:
- 10 more patterns (wow...)
- Another house to decorate (kinda bad too but I can keep it a one room at first at least) xD
- House as a landscaping element

I just updated my dream address now so if you have time and want to please check out the situation yourself, but you can just answer what you think!

If you visit the dream: Obviously, the Wisteria Terill would disappear. I could rebuild it two spaces to north and then finish landscaping the free area north of it. I thought of putting there a Picnic blanket (the free [= no design] 2x3 spaces) and a water pump (1x1 space) maybe? Suggestions for that are welcome too.

PS.: Please note that this was just a quick dream update for this so my town is not in perfect shape at all (in general). ;~; (It's missing stuff I usually add for dreams like almost dandelions, traps and there are trees growing and flowers missing etc. and there are fossils etc. lol.)

So the questions are:
1) What good and what bad does a 4th character do.
2) Do you think I should build a house there or do something else?
3) Any suggestions for other improvement places in town?

I have town full of dreamies as well but I keep the 4th character open, because sometimes you just get that gut feeling that somebody didn't ping but should have... So I go in with a new character to check if its save to load the day.

I have started writing down (in the 3DS Notes) the dates when I refuse a move-out so I can be extra careful when the time comes that someone could potentially soon be in boxes! I recommend it very much!

I have four, it's good for extra patterns and storage but because i didn't plan ahead I'm going to have to move them to another game in the future, plot rest the rest of my dreamies then add another forth again.

Yeah extra storage is nice, definitely if you're a bush start hoarder like me....
