Should I invite Dom?

It's up to you but if you don't like any Jock you may as well take him because he's quite popular and you can eventually trade him in the future... If you had a dreamie Jock though I would have said to you to aim for you dreams haha
But maybe you'll get attached to Dom in the end if he comes on your island. It happened for me and Raymond.

This is definitely a personal choice for you. Would you enjoy having him in your town? Are you only considering it because he's new? Or are you indifferent, since you don't care for other kocks either? If there isn't another jock you were hoping for and you're trying to get a jock, then why not? If anything, you can then invite him to Harv's and get his portrait and work towards getting his photo. That's what I plan to do with the new villagers if I meet them somehow. Just because there is no amiibo for them so I can't invite them to Harv's or get their photo unless I happen to find them. And you could always just get rid of him after if you're tired of him or find someone better.

Dom was my starter jock on my second village. I feel like I wasn't expecting to like him as much as I do.
I think he's great if you aren't particularly fond of jocks. His primary personality trait is play, so it's more likely you'll see him zoom around your island like an airplane than see him work out (though I'm sure he does that too. I've also seen him sing, though I digress.) Of course, he still talks about his muscles, but I find it amusing since he's so fluffy looking.
You may want to consider the style of your villagers. He's a pastel pink fluffy sheep, so that's going to work better with some people than others. He also likes wearing cute things, so I really don't consider him a typical jock.

Echoing the user above me about Dom being a great jock if you aren't fond of jocks. I didn't like jocks in previous AC gams, but Dom is different. Super cute and almost makes the personality kinda comical for me since he's the biggest floofball.

Maybe trade him as he is a new character? You might be able to trade him for the jock you want

I don't have him in my town but he's adorable! His face is very expressive and he's like Roald in that he barely resembles a jock. If you like that sort of thing, then I'd say he's worth it.
Thanks everyone for your opinions! I invited Dom (and used him to move out one of the villagers i detested). I'm still debating whether to make my town a deer-wolves one, or to just keep all the villagers I like, but for now he's staying. From what you've said, he might fit me well, so I'm excited to see what's to come! c:
