should i get pikmin 3

for those of you who own it, is it fun? i'm either getting that or wind waker (which i already played on gamecube).
i've seen gameplay trailers and it looks fun, but i'm not sure how good it is. do you guys like it?

oh well i'm getting wind waker since i hear that pikmin 3 doesn't have long lasting appeal. i remember playing wind waker. ah..
