So I am addicted to my new 3ds regular (and ACNL) I can't stop playing.
I also have around ?80 in my account, I'm terrible with spending money, I mean I don't spend it.
I have had this money since my birthday 2 months ago and have nothing to spend it on, my local game shop sells a secondhand 2ds for ?50 and I really am thinking of getting it. I get ?15 per month and my money keeps going up and I have nothing to spend it on.
Should I? I already have 2 copy's of ACNL.

Keep it . trust me
For the new games coming out

I would not recommend getting another 3DS model unless you buy the original 3DS. The original 3DS is a much better system for ACNL trading because it has a Wi-Fi switch on it. With the New 3DS, you are practically screwed if you get scammed and the game is saving because turning off the power while saving would corrupt your game. Hope this helps!

Yeah but it's like ?30 cheaper :P. I don't know, I'm gonna think for a week or two :P

There is no reason to really get a new 3ds... I can't think of anything you would use that second 3ds for to be honest. I guess if you wanted to dup in video games like pokemon and acnl it would be okay... but otherwise I can't think of a need for it. It seems like a giant waste of money. Just save the money. A emergency might come along. You don't know.

Yeah, I'm not sure. My brother has a new 3ds too (in black and I have white) so I might just use his as one. But I only see him once every two weeks so that would be awkward.

If you are really into video games, then I say buy a second one. I always buy 2 handheld consoles in the event that you need to trade stuff back and forth. If you are a casual gamer then I would say just stick to one.

I highly suggest you keep your hard-earned cash for another 3DS game than getting an extra 3DS system, unless you're giving it to your sibling or friend. For an average gamer, the benefits for having a second system are rather small and insignificant.

Seriously, just get another 3DS game instead!

Not to mention... How often are you even going to use another duplicate system? Even if you use it to dupe and stuff... what are the rewards? Would it even outweigh all that money you spennt?

Cough cough, I lied.

You bought the 2DS then? I would have personally advised against it (save money for Wii U / AC Wii U or HHD or amiibo cards!) but it's too late now, haha.

Enjoy your new 2DS! Trading Pokemon / doing things in Animal Crossing / 100 visitors for train station should be much easier now!

Hahah thanks, I'm a rebel.
I don't even have Pokemon because this was a used ds xD.
But I'm so using it like all the time. It's also for my second town :P

Absolutely not. Keep that money for when Nintendo decides to release a new console.

EDIT:
Oh... I just saw the limited edition 2DS. Not a bad purchase. If I were you, I'd wait until that limited edition isn't available anymore and sell it at a profit on Amazon.com
