Okay, I've been thinking about this for a while. I think I have more paths and junk than just plants so I'm thinking of getting rid of all my tree's/bushes, and planting them somewhere else. Also I'm thinking of getting some new paths and deleting a few old ones.
My town theme is going to be a pink/kawaii town with cute villagers and a magical vibe! [ Does that make sense? lol ]
If I am going to do this my goal is to be done by April 7, 2017
You should do that if you hate your town, but don't want to reset. Getting enough bush starts and cedar saplings can be a pain, but everything else isn't very difficult. If you are giving yourself a year, then that will give you plenty of time to buy your own cedars and bushes.
It's fun to redecorate/ relandscape your town :3 I've done it a few times, and it's nice to have a fresh start without losing progress on badges and expanding your house(s). Take lots of pictures of your town before you dig up all your plants, and maybe store your old path designs in able sisters instead of deleting them in case you decide it wasn't a good idea after all.
lol I'm redoing it my town as well. But yeah, go ahead and do it, if you're really not satisfied with your town right now. It'll give you a reason to keep playing and improving your town.
I think if you're unhappy with the way your town looks at the moment i'd go ahead and rearrange some things! I mean since you aren't deleting your town or anything like that, it should be fairly easy for you to get a hold of bushes and cedars. (if you have TIY or otherwise of course) Although if you don't have TIY you can always buy landscaping tools from other users on here, they don't charge much. I think I bought like a set of 30 four leaf clovers for 2TBT each. I say definitely! If it makes you feel more happier with your town then I think you should go for it. I'm thinking of re landscaping my town also. Since it's getting a bit stale, and I don't really like the arrangement of my cedars. Before redecorating I always save and continue before putting new paths down to see if I like them. If I don't like them I usually just exit the game using the home menu, so when I reload the game my old path will be still there.
