Splatoon Should I buy???

not sure if i want to... i've played the game and i LOVEEE IT but its been out for a while and i want HHD more... is it a good buy??? are people still really into it? i normally get to games once they have had their prime behind them so i dont want to make that mistake with this game...

if i did get it, it would be around Christmas maybe o.o

I think this game would still be roaring by christmas. I'm confident that you will enjoy it way more than HHD. If you love it, you should get it.

There was a time when I didn't have Splatoon. I shudder at the thought.

This game has amazing 'replay' value; that multiplayer is addicting as heck. The numbers speak for themselves in regards to whether people are 'still really into it,' as examples like the following show: its sales numbers for the first fourteen weeks have broken the Super Smash Bros record, even though the latter game was a well known franchise expected to smash sales numbers, and Splatoon in contrast is a new franchise. Moreover, by August Splatoon has already far exceeded Nintendo's expectations by smashing 600,000 in sales in the States alone (not even all of North America).

Splatoon is an amazing game you won't regret buying it. Personally when I first heard about it I could have cared less, but once I found out about the free testfires I decided to give it a try, because why not? Needless to say I loved the testfires and decided to get the game on release day. Waiting until Christmas isn't a bad idea especially if you are concerned money wise. No matter when you decide to get it it's a great buy even if it's one of the more pricier games.

I've been hyped for this game since the first E3 trailer, and have a constant impulse to yell WOOMY.

In any case, I actually got my T.V. and WiiU to play Splatoon, and I don't regret it at all.

im going to go with the unpopular opinion and say no. i got this game in july, i played for like 3 weeks over the course of 2 months. i havent played it since early august.

You should buy it! It wasn't much when it first came out, but now it's so awesome with all of this DLC. This game can be very addicting!

I think sometimes people forget TBT is an Animal Crossing board first, and a Smash/Splat/Pok?mon board second. A lot of people on this forum like Animal Crossing and HHD as well as Splatoon, so I doubt it'll start anything...
