Thinking about buying a Wii U.
Are they good? I have PS4 already but missing out on some of my favorites on Wii U.
Can get Wii U Basic for 149.99
Will get HDD for extra storage if necessary.

I recommend buying it because of the great first party games, i mean come on! You just can not miss Mario Kart 8, you just have to get it, it's just THE perfect Mario game! Also, the Wii U has a great improvement in graphics too, the Wii and Gamecube were nearly the same.
And on top of that, 149.99 is a really good deal in my opinion! (Not as good as the European €200 Basic Pack with Nintendo Land and Wii Party U in my opinion but it is still a good price if you ask me! I bought my Wii U Premium Pack on the 4th of February 2013 with only Nintendo Land for €350 which is $388 i guess)
Is that ?149.99 or $149.99? I'm just thinking, my 'premium' Wii U didn't cost that much more (?180ish brand new, not including a game) and it having a larger harddrive by default is nice since it's one less thing I have to have plugged in.
But yea, you have a PS4 so I would say there's absolutely no downside to owning a Wii U. I'll skip telling you about the games because you probably already know what's available, so it's rambling at that point. I'll just say that most of them are worth playing.
The only thing I somewhat regret about my Wii U is that I sort of regret getting it before the PS4 since I'm going to miss out on a lot of third party releases (well, at least until I inevitably get a PS4 that is). I still love the thing, just that the third party release thing is an issue since I love Kingdom Hearts and Metal Gear. But that obviously doesn't apply to you since you already have a PS4. I would have also got both consoles regardless anyway.
So yea, other than the third party (which is pretty redundant in this) I don't regret buying my Wii U. I really don't have a bad thing to say about it other than the third party thing, which hasn't even been that much of an issue to be honest. Everything else about it is just great. It's definitely worth the money, especially if you're picking one up for ?150.

Wii U Basic only have 8GB of internal memory, in which turns out to be a mere 3GB right off the bat. If you plan to play nothing but physical retail games, the saves and its update data won't take too much of space. Want to download a good amount of games and DLCs? Better get a USB Hard Drive with Y-Cable or AC Adapter ASAP.

I would check it myself but I don't have anything to measure it with hanging around. It's a pretty small console though.
