I see so many people say how fabulous it is but is it worth the ?30? I mean it just sounds like you don't actually play it, you just kinda... idk... watch it? Should I give it a try? Would anyone here recommend it?

I would wait for the price drop then go for it.

I played a demo and I personally felt it was duuumb but some people really enjoy it.

I really enjoyed it when I first bought it, however I'm really bored of it now.
so bored that I'm selling it next week, aha.

It's fun and addicting, but kind of repetitive and boring.

It is probably not worth ?30. I'm in America, so I don't know exactly how much that's worth (yes, I know what Google is), but I'm going to assume that that's the normal price. Anyway, I don't exactly think it's worth that much, but it's still worth a go. Rent it or find a sale where it's going for less.

No, I would wait.
I bought it when it first came out, and regretted it almost immediately. In my opinion it's not worth the money at all.
But like Callaway said, some people really enjoy it. It's just not for me :P

Tough to recommend this game. I personally love it, but the easy going, not having to do anything, being able to do what you want type of game really suits me. But it does get repetitive, thats for sure. I guess it depends with what mindset you buy this game. To kill spare time every now and then its great, but to invest your expensive gamer focus in, its kinda terrible.

I just feels for me as an antfarm. With like ants you know. Whom you can follow while socializing. That way I don`t have to get out. :D

Thanks everyone! I don't think I'll be getting it and just save the money for the New Leaf 3DS XL and get a second town... seems more fun and worth the money than just sitting watching the island on TL.

It's a quirky, crazy, insane game that I'm fairly sure took a bunch of insane people at Nintendo to make.
However, your decision to get a second New Leaf town sounds better. Tomodachi Life is fun, but there's not really any gameplay to it. You're interacting with miis on an island. To top that off, if you don't have many miis that you want to add, it's really not going to be fun anyways. That's not to say you should never buy the game, but if it's better for you to get the New Leaf 3DS XL, by all means, do it. I was into Tomodachi Life at first, but after a few days I got bored. Animal Crossing lasts you a while :)

I've heard that it's a game you either love or you hate because of the repetitiveness. I'd suggest that you try the demo version for free first, and then decide for yourself.

I'm still torn between buying it or not at the moment.

I bought it, but only because I got it for 5 bucks. I think It's cute, in all honesty, I like it more than New Leaf. It really is repetitive, though, but I still like it.
Agreed that you should wait until the price drops and/or get it pre owned, since It's $40 here.

/ Oh, you're saving for a new 3DS? I'd go with that choice instead.
