Pokémon Should i buy Pokemon X or Y?

I already have pokemon Y but i have no idea where it is and my friend found it on the floor at her school and gave it to me (lol free game) it works ok but it is pretty much completed and i have no idea what point it is one. Plus i have never ever played Pokemon and i know little about it but i have watched it on tv and it looks cool, so cool in fact i want to play it for myself. I have no idea which one to get, although there is not much differences between the 2. ANYWAY what do you guys think... X or Y?


Also i am going to get killed for this but i know like nothing about the game ^.^

I picked X just because the legendary pokemon in that one reminded me of the great forest spirit from Princess Mononoke.

That's usually how I always end up choosing: whichever one has the legendary I like the most.

I know there is no point but i lost the game when i was moving house so the chances are it is gone for good so i might as well buy a new one...

The wording on the first sentence is confusing, that's why Tina/others have assumed you had it "I have no idea where it is "and " my friend found it on the floor and gave it to me" as that's pretty much saying "Yeah, I've lost my copy but my friend gave me a new one"

You never mentioned anything about it being lost because you moved house until now, nobody is going to know that unless you say things first.

I initially got Y because I liked the look of Yveltal more, and after playing the story, personally I think that the villains trying to awaken the "Destruction" Pok?mon (Yveltal) sounds a lot more threatening than them trying to awaken the "Life" Pok?mon (Xerneas). But Pok?mon is a bit of a light-hearted/fun game either way, and the next Kalos game(s) will probably come up with a better story anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter that much which story you go for. Just pick the one that has the Pok?mon you like the most.

Or if you don't have Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire, get one of them instead. I personally think Alpha Sapphire is the better version, but it's your pick.

you know what i mean... anyway does it matter? like i pointed out my sister made the thread as she likes to "Borrow" my laptop when i'm away and use my account. Even though i have changed my password for my laptop like 5 times she still keeps getting in some how. I am locking my laptop away in a box and putting it under my bed...
