Should I Buy New Leaf?

Well... People who will say "No, don't buy it." simply because they don't like ACNL are biased as well? How different is that from the Animal Crossing fanbase who will recommend it to other people to play? But, she did state she simply loved the other Animal Crossing games that she played, so I would say yes, try out New Leaf. Because if you loved the other games, you will mostly likely like New Leaf as well and since Corrie was thinking of playing another Animal Crossing series, might as well!

Simply put, it's just hard not to get a biased opinion from other people who have played Animal Crossing New Leaf. You will probably either get a yes or no answer and prolly still wonder if you want it or not. I was confused whether or not to buy it as well, because it was so old and the last series I played, was City Folk? (I loved the game back then). But, I was more convinced to buy it after seeing all the good reviews though (I was gonna get it anyways).

But, it really is up to you Corrie, it's better to try it out yourself (if you reallyyy do want the game) rather than get opinions from other people? It's also gotten high ratings and apparently won an award as well. If you don't like it, you could always return the game! At least, that's how I usually view new games.

EDIT: Google some game reviews, if you really still want to figure out if you want to buy it or not, or look up videos of gameplay, that's what I usually do if I'm still confused!

EDIT2: Also, this is just my opinion anyways, so who knows?

I have looked up gameplay and the graphics look super awesome! *____* It really makes WW look sooooo dated. XD I think I will give it a go. I am getting paid on Friday so I can buy it after work along with some series 3 card packs. XD ahaha.

Thanks so much for giving me a really indepth answer. Makes me feel for confident about the game. C:

Looking forward to you becoming Mayor!

Animal crossing is always worth it! I might buy a second copy sometime later on, but I'm not very sure yet-keep forgetting. Definitely try new leaf! a lot of people still play and it's a great game <3

Is buying a second copy worth it? I have been looking at the villager lists and it is hard to pick just ten!! ;w;

People sometimes buy a second cartridge to do a second town with a different theme - so it depends. If your the creative type who is up to the task, go for it!

I used to have a second copy and made it based around this anime I liked (trash ikr) but gave it to my friend.
It's worth it if you enjoy putting your mind to something though, if you get what I mean.

Welcome to ACNL. I bought it on the release date and still play every day.
The game is the same price as a movie and maybe dinner out. I got my moneys worth from ACNL in 2 weeks.
Have fun.

I've had my first NL town for almost three years and I still play daily! It's a super fun, cute and addicting game.

It's totally worth getting.

Yes, you should buy it!! I can guarantee you will be addicted to it immediately.
Compared to Wild World (I used to play WW too), its graphics are millions of times better, and it's just a lot more fun game overall.

If you have the extra money, yes! Especially if you have a second 3DS/2DS, because then you can exchange stuff between towns, or have a cycle town or a storage town. I'm actually debating myself whether or not I'll get a second copy just for cycling so I can hopefully get some better villagers.

I think you should but it depends on how much time you have in your schedule, because once you start playing you're going to want to play for hours. If you have lots of time you could get it all started then go on to what you need to do. From my experience if you don't have time to play then you either end up abandoning it or falling behind on things you need to do.

buy! buy! it's a must buy on the 3DS. It's good! did I mention it was good? IT'S GOOD!! :p

I didn't even need to read any of this thread to respond with a simple

YES

I didn't word my post very well, but I was trying to say that this site is not a good place for getting ACNL reviews since almost everyone who still visits TBT likes the game. There are people who don't like it for various reasons and you won't find those reviews here. Asking this question here on TBT is like going into a restaurant and asking the manager if the food is good.

or going to ReTail and asking the seller if you should buy their items in the flea-market. :p

The community is still very active for new leaf, despite it being out for quite a while.
There are still many new people joining this site who only just picked up the game and I don't think another proper AC game is due for release on the ds for a while yet. So you'd have plenty of time to spend on the game itself, having people to trade with, etc.
I'd say go for it :) I enjoyed wild world but new leaf is much better for me
