I just want a simple dragon ball z game to ps4 but it looks like xenoverse is the only one I can buy. I am not really crazy with this whole custom character thing plus I hear the story is changed so that's that. I'm just wonder is it worth getting?

I thought it was a fun way to pass the time, but there can be some silly grinding types of quests where you have to just hope that an item will drop for you - that part is definitely not fun.
I wouldn't call Xenoverse simple. It sounds like you're not really into it so I would buy something else if I were you, unless you REALLY need a DBZ game fix. Unless you can find Xenoverse for cheapies and return it if you end up finding it's not your cup of tea
I enjoyed it, but I have a hard time recommending it, honestly. It's not bad, just ... different.
