Should I be happy or sad about this?

I just caught a Red King Crab for the first time, I wasn't even trying to catch anything, I was diving for villager pings. Anyway, my pockets were are filled up with flowers so I couldn't even swap out for it. I didnt get to donate it or even sell it Happy or sad?

It seems to be an unfortunate event, but asking strangers on the internet what emotion you should be feeling over a certain event is a little strange to me. What did you feel during that time? I'm afraid we cannot program emotions into you =p So I cannot tell you how you should be feeling about this.

If nothing else, empty your pockets and hunt around for it again, now that you know you are in the right time of day/season for catching one. Good luck!

I guess it's a sad thing - you did get it for your encyclopedia, which is good, but you still have to catch another one for the museum anyway, so then it doesn't matter anymore. It would've been (or more like felt) better to not catch it now and catch it when hunting for them, to me.
But you have it in your encyclopedia now anyway, and it can help to get a badge faster. It kind of depends on how you see it and what you find more important (badges or museum).
