Try saving them as PNGs next time. You'll keep the sharpness of the sprite that way. They seem a bit too... fused. Any attempts to further hide the distinctness of each part would make it better.

Do you make sprites other than splices?

Not very good at spriting
Splicing is where I excel.
And also these were PNG's but they were all separated, so I put them all together on one document.
