Shep & odd crafting issue.

I've noticed with Shep, if he's supposed to be crafting in his house, he'll stand a bit back from his DIY table and just stare at it. You have to actually push him up to the table to get him to start crafting. Does this happen to anyone else, especially with him? It seems almost like the position of his bed and how close it is to the table hinders him from somehow getting to it himself without a push. Once you push him up to it, he starts crafting normally like nothing happened odd.

I'm so confused. I thought this was a one time thing but it happens every time.

(Oh, and if you talk to him while he's staring at the table, he'll have a normal conversation, then go back to staring at it again until you push him up)

Now that you've mentioned it, this happened to my cousin like last week! I didn't see it myself, but she did send me a picture of him standing at a distance from the DIY table. He was behaving the exact same way as you described lol. Perhaps his interior was poorly designed and interferes with his ability to craft normally haha

Yeah, the corner of his bed is very close to the craft table, I feel almost like it's blocking him from moving up on his own?

That definitely could be the issue! I used to have him, but I never went into his house so I don't exactly remember the layout haha

Very odd. My Shep doesn’t have this issue at all. He’s always working away at it quite enthusiastically when I walk in.

this definitely also happens with my shep, though I have never pushed him over to the bench, I make a point of always speaking to any villager who's house I enter because I don't want to confuse them and multiple times he's standing in the middle yet when I go say hi he turns and has a hammer and offers me a recipe lol
I never thought much of it but its interesting that it happens to other people with him as well!

This exact same thing happened to my Shep. Interesting to know that it's a Shep thing!

it's off and on, sometimes he is working with no issues, and other times yep he just stands there, definitely an issue with the bed location... wonder if we can make him a smaller one that he would accept?
