Trading Shells?

What are shells used for? I will trade mine for tbt if i knew how xD

Shells can't be traded or given to others. You can buy stuff in the shop with them.

Idk exactly how it works since the forum has been updated. They used to be spendable in Kapp'n's Seaside Shack but it looks like there aren't separate shop tabs anymore...
