Shell Respawn Rate...?

Does anyone know how long it takes?

Need two more giant clams, and my beaches are picked clean.

There are always lots in the late afternoon/evening but I find the giant clam is the least prevalent shell!

Sometimes, I already see 4-5 new seashells by the seashore after an hour. But I'm not sure if it's the same with everyone else.

I‘ve decided to check back in an hour, thanks. I have a few hours before Winnie leaves the campsite, so hopefully I can still make the shell bed for her before then. If not, I’ll try again.
