I know I've found lots of great advice in this forum, but what isn't so great is my memory.

So just in case there are other people out there like me, do you have any tips you would like to share?

For instance, in order to spawn white carnations, I have been told you need two pink carnations WHICH HAVE BEEN SPAWNED BY RED carnations. And that can be kind of hard to make happen.

So I just surround my pink carnation with red ones, and the first two pinks which show up from the mix are separated and watered. I keep taking away any other pinks and just watering the original two, and within a week or less - white carnations!

I have tried this in two different towns and it worked both times.


So, what tips and advice do you have for us?

I recently just read on Tumblr someone saying that if you don't want pitfalls to spawn, bury one really out of the way in your town because they don't spawn if there's one already in your town.
This is probably super obvious to everyone but meh.

This is...sort of obvious.. Try getting all the fruit and planting them so you can sell it for money... It..uhh...is way too obvious?

cut down all, but 2, tress on your island. Make sure they are at the other end from each other. Pull up all flowers and bushes.

Come back starting around 7pm.

I do this, but I have 2 on either side. So 4 trees in total. It works just as well.

Yeah, I do it with 6 palm trees - 3 on each side, spaced so catching a beetle on one doesn't scare the beetle away from the next one. So I guess a lot of different combinations work. . Yayyyyy for beetles!!

• Cut with normal axe twice, before using silver.
• Plant orchards 1 row per day.
• Buy clothes, hats and shoes even if you don't need them right now. The catalogue is your walk-in closet and it makes Gracie Checks easier.

• Keep talking to Sable every single day, you'll unlock mannequin No.1.
• Buy clothes from Mable even if you don't need them, you'll unlock mannequin No.2.
• Buy one accessory from Labelle every single day and you'll unlock mannequin No.3.

This does work. I've had it this way since day one (June 9th). I did have a pitfall seed spawn a few weeks ago and thought "What the heck". I went to where my buried pitfall seed was suppose to be and it wasn't there. No one had been to my town for quite a while, so I guess a villager fell into it. I would have loved to seen that. LOL. I re-buried the found pitfall seed and another one hasn't spawned yet.

There is no difference between spawned carnations or the ones gotten through mail.

Need PWP?

Fill your item slots with flowers, go swim for about 5 minutes, and come back. When a villager pings, they cant buy the flowers and you have no room for them to sell/give you stuff. This will result is PWPs most of the time

I got one the first day after I started watering them o: The second took its time though.

Wow, really cool. I put my first white one with just one pink one and watered those two to get my second. Didn't take long - 2 days, I think.
