So I've had access to the QR code sewing machine for a while now. Today it stopped working, I can still see it, but Sable is acting all shy again. The only thing different I did today was have visitors over (for the first time) and I created a new save file thing because my sister wanted to play in my village but I didn't want her doing mayor things. Is it because I brought a new human into the town that it started over?

Each character has to re-unlock the QR machine. Were you on the new character?

You can't use the machine while you have visitors/the gates open. Did you forget to close it?
Also, if you were on your new character, you have to unlock the sewing machine for the new character as well, but you can still use it on the character that you've already befriended with Sable.
